Fine in vg dust jacket. Ffep has inscription "Roderick Nash, The First Thomas D. Clark Lecturer in the Humanities, University of Kentuckyh, 1987" Nash, a distinguished environmental historian and philosopher, possibly was given this book by Clark when he visited U. Kentucky. It is unclear whether the inscription was written by Clark; it is in a fine flowing hand, so possibly Clark had a third party pen it for him. Stamp of a subequent owner on the same page.
