Bookseller's certificate laid in: "This is to Certify that this article was purchased at Dickens' Old Curiousity Shop. The shop was built in 1567, and is one of the few remaining examples of Tudor architecture in London. The Old Curiousity Shop was immortalised by Charles Dickens in the novel of that name, as the home of Little Nell and The Grandfather."
